THREATS
A couple tornadoes possible, Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely, Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

SITUATION
Multiple rounds of thunderstorms should pose a threat for both scattered severe/damaging winds and a couple of tornadoes through the morning and continuing into the afternoon. Peak gusts may reach up to 60-70 mph, and some hail threat may exist if supercells can form and be sustained. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 115 statute miles north and south of a line from 45 miles west of Zanesville OH to 15 miles south southeast of Wheeling WV. A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.
